Healing 31st December

There is only one session of healing on Wednesday this week. it will be the afternoon session from 1pm until 2pm. Our dedicated healers will be waiting to help you.
On Saturday the 3rd January the morning healing will be taking place as usual in the church ,please come along .

Can I also take this opportunity to tell you that the first divine service of 2009 will be the 6pm service on Sunday evening. The worker is Gaynor Mullins.

Message to all Church Members

Firstly on behalf of the committee I would like to pass on all their best wishes for this season of goodwill.I hope the day has gone well for you and your families.
Our good wishes also go to you for a wonderful New Year.
It is an exciting time for the church and we need your support to keep the doors open.
Sunday the 4th at 6pm is the first divine Sunday service of 2009, let us all turn up and have a good start.

Our healers are back on 31st December for the afternoon session only, then in 2009 back on the 3rd January 2009 for the Saturday morning session starting at 10-30am.


HAPPY HEW YEAR

Carol Service

This event was very well attended and was enjoyed by all. Well that was the feedback from most of the carolers. The children in my opinion stole the show and it is always great to see young ones smiling and singing, albeit for a selection box.
Thanks should go to the people who did the readings, Jane, Steve, Geraldine and myself Phil.
Special thanks should also go to David Hill our organist who also gave a splendid solo on the flute. Thank you David it was wonderful and we all wish you well for your forthcoming operation on New Years Eve.
Gaynor Mullins thanked the tireless efforts of the committee who have done a lot of work behind the scenes throughout 2008. She also made it quite clear that the church is not just the members but also the people who just turn up for the various services that keeps this church open, if you don't turn up we would not be able to keep the doors open.
May I wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Saturday Night was alright for dancing

Unfortunately for us at Park Grove this Saturday, we had to compete with Brucie and his 'strictly' team, and we lost.Are we down hearted , not at all.
The two excellent workers , Val Croot and Leah Bond waltzed their way through some pretty good evidence of survival. The evening was happy, and humorous on occasions,(Val jokes), she never misses an opportunity.

So I would like to thank those people who could see that the evening at the church was more entertaining than the BBC.

Saturday night

The demonstration on Saturday has two workers doing their thing, Leah Bond and Val Croot This should be a special sort of evening so close to the Christmas festivities
Leah has worked the church on many occasions, and Val is always ready to step in to help us all the time.
There will be a raffle as this is the last Demonstration until the 10th 0f January 2009.
Come along and listen and relax away from the stampede going on all around you, and all for £3 on the door .

Last Open circle of 2008

Jackie and Arthur Dandy

Another great service by these two lovely people. Arthurs philosophy was very good and said in a clear and loud voice and was meaningful and a little bit personal. He ended it by saying a very funny poem which had the crowd laughing. Jackies evidence of survival was spot on and delivered in a very friendly and professional way.
No doubt they will be asked back

Carol Ellis and Michelle Hurley

The last morning service of 2008 took place this morning at Park Grove and was well up to the standard that has been shown throughout the year. Carol Ellis gave philosophy that was easy to equte with the modern times we live in. Parts touched on the Spirit Worlds closeness, especially at this time of year, which one of for families, so everyone who has passed will gather around the ones they love, and have had to leave behind,Thank you Carol.
Michelle Hurley has only just started on the road of mediumship and although it was only her second time on the rostrum ,gave a very solid demonstration of survival. This time, I did not call her Liz, but she has a lovely sense of humour and is always smiling. All at Park Grove wish her the very best with her work with Spirit in the future.

Sunday Services 13th December 2008

The last Sunday morning service of 2008 will be taken by the church secretary Carol Ellis. Carol is the backbone of the church and does stirling work in making sure that the cogs of Park Grove are well oiled to allow the doors to stay open.
She will not thank me for saying this ,but it is the truth.Along with her work in our church she has work with Spirit all over this country and abroad. I can honestly say that she rarely has a day off from her church and other work.It is always a bonus to have her working at Park Grove.


The evening service sees the return of Jackie Sweeney, (now Dandy I believe) This is another return to the church and is always a pleasure to see her work. Last time she brought her husband with her and he gave an excellent philosophy, so it all augers well for Sunday.

The chairpersons for the services are : Morning -- Phil Spillane and Evening -- Jack Wynne Williams. Hope to see you there.

At the Church Tonight

Wayne Pooley is the worker tonight, and it will start at 7pm.
Wayne has been to the church on many occasions, so why not come along and see him in action. The evening will be chaired by our President, Gaynor Mullins,aided and abetted by her side kick and buddy Linda Calver.
Treat yourself to an hour and a half of honest enjoyment and put the frantic worry of christmas shopping out of your mind.

Postponement 19th December2008

Unfortunately due to matters beyond our control, we have had to postpone the scheduled event on Friday the 19th of December for members and their guests until the new year.
The evening will be called a January Sale , and the price will show that.
As usual the Three Recipes will be working their magic to produce the buffet type food. These ladies give the church their full support all the time with events and ask for nothing in return, what an asset to the church these three members are!
So keep a watch in the press and on this blog in the new year.

George Seaton at Park Grove

Another good evening service. George Seaton, a quietly spoken, man gave an excellent reading,address and followed it up with good survival evidence.
The only negative factor to come out of the evening was that the congregation was very small, and his words were missed by the many people who did not attend.

Sunday Debut

This morning saw the debut of Michelle Hurley at Park Grove.
Despite the nerves she did very well indeed. She was ably supported by Cath Kelly and President Gaynor Mullins (Michelles'group mentor).

Well done To you Michelle and we look forward to many more services that you will be taking.
It is important for the future of the church to have up and coming people from the various groups, so that it will be kept rich in the resources that our predecessors wanted, and started many years ago .

Kay Harding

On Saturday 6th December, Kay Harding gave a good evening of survival evidence.
It was presented in Kay's own unique style. Seriousness and loads of laughter was on show and she was on top form. The evidence given was first class and all who attended went away happy.
I was told to give her her wink on three occasions which I did. She signalled back with a thumbs up.

Thank you Kay you will always be asked back on that showing. I must also thank the World of Spirit for the part they had in the evening.

Coming Soon

The Christmas arrangements will be on show soon as soon as the committee have confirmed. Solid dates for your diary are 20th Dec. Last demonstration of mediumship ,and 21st Dec is the Christmas Carol service @ 6pm. Please note there will be no morning service that day.
The date of the re=opening will be published later along with dates of healing etc.

On Saturday the 6th December is the return of the ever popular KAY HARDING. Kay has been to the church on many occasions and is an excellent worker.
The Sunday morning service sees our President Gaynor Mullins working with 3 of her Tuesday group, and George Seaton will be doing the 6pm service.
In between these we have the healing days and the ever popular OPEN CIRCLE on Thursday evening.

Open Circle and Beyond

Open circle tonight for you regulars. Doors as you know shut prompt at 7pm. Then we have the healing Saturday morning and in the evening a Demonstration of Mediumship again starting at 7pm. The worker is from Swansea and has worked in our church on many occasions, Miriam Smith
Sunday has Anthony Coopey taking the morning service and in the evening we have Bev Charles and Ruth Wakelin.
I am taking this opportunity to thank Linda Calver for taking over my chairing role as I have a date with Cardiff City, thank you Linda, your reward shall be in heaven but not for a long time yet.

Turkeys and Welshcakes

These were given to people at the church tonight in messages from loved ones. Carol Ellis was the medium and dared me to put it on the blog,so this is it.
This is not the first time we have had birds given, a couple of weeks ago we had chickens.
It is this type of evidence that turns out to be the essential part of the message and proves to the receiver that the loved one involved has not just gone and is still close. Long may "silly" messages be given.

All in all the standard of mediumship this weekend at Park Grove was again excellent.
The morning service taken by Tony Leeson was of high calibre. It great to see a crowded church in the morning. Long may it will continue

Everyone must remember that to stay open the church needs people coming through its doors. I have no doubt that with the standard of mediumship that Park Grove gets to its services and the high standards set by the healers in the church. there is only one way the church can go, upwards. We are currently making good the back room at the church to enable the Physical group to use for their development. We are nearly finished and means that they can start as soon as.

Changes for Saturday and Sunday

Enforced changes have had to be made for the Saturday night service and the Sunday evening service at Park grove this weekend.
We were informed of the hospitalisation of Gail Osbourne who was going to be our worker on Saturday evening (we send our loving and healing thoughts to her for a quick recovery) and that has had an impact om our Sunday evening service.
Susanne Berlin will be now doing the Saturday night along with Carol Ellis and Carol who is our secretary will also do the Sunday evening service.
My job has booking sec is made oh so easy when we have people like carol who are only to willing to help on these occasions.
So come along to the services this weekend and see the way that spirit will work.

Healing

Wednesday means just one thing at the church, yes it means that the healers will be there at 1pm till 2pm in the afternoon and again in the evening from 7pm till 8pm.
Come along to sit in the healing energies that are in the church.
On Saturday morning again you are welcome to come along and let the dedicated people help you. This is from 10-30 till 11-30 and all are welcome .
There is no charge for the healing on both Wednesday or Saturday, but you can make a donation if you feel you would like to

Sunday Services 16th November

Good day at Park Grove. We are being spoilt these days and are getting some good workers. Linda Calver gave her usual competent service for the morning,and the unknown worker or workers came, as promised and did not disappoint.
They were two ladies from the valleys called Barbara Beeharry and Paula Parsons.
Barbara gave a very poignant and personal philosophy,which must have been a quite nerve racking experience. The survival evidence they both gave was quite outstanding and at times very emotional. The congregation at both services left feeling very happy and fulfilled.
We shall certainly be asking them back again.

Saturday sees the helping healers do their work from 10-30 till 11-30, many thanks to all of these dedicated people who give their time for the benefit of others.
The evening has the Demonstration of Mediumship at 7pm. Our workers this Sat are Paul and Debra Rees. So come along and join them for an hour or so in their company. Gaynor Mullins and Linda Calver would also like to see you there.
Sunday morning service will be taken by our very own Vice -President Linda Calver and the 6pm service still remains a mystery, but I have been assured that somebody will be there . If not I can step in but I must warn you in advance that my clairvoyance is not good, but it could be entertaining.
Anyway thats the weekend at Park Grove. Also I must remind you that it is not long until Christmas, so look in the cabinets and find something you will like for that special friend.

Workshop

On Saturday 15th at 12-30, after the healing there is a chance for beginners to start to develop their ability. The workshop, entitled The First Step will be presented by Sharon Fry and Emma Cole.
They will be under the guidance of our secretary Carol Ellis. Please come along to an event which has a limited number of tickets available.

WEEKEND AHEAD

Healing today

Don't forget that healing is available twice today at the church. Our highly respected healers will be ready to help all who attend at the sessions at 2pm until 3pm and this evening at 7pm until 8pm. Remember healing is free, but you can if you want make a donation towards the running of the church.

These two good people stood in on Sunday for the 6pm service. They both delivered what people at Park Grove have come to expect i.e Good clear philosophy and excellent survival evidence.
I would also like this opportunity to thank our very own catering corp for the help they always give with teas and coffees. We are lucky at Park Grove to have many people who want to help, this in turn makes it a little easier for the committee members to cope with which at times is quite a busy period.

Sharon Fry Church Debut

Sharon Fry is the latest "talent" to take the rostrum at Park Grove this Sunday morning 2nd November.
It looked as if she had been doing this type of things for years. Sharon showed confidence and gave a memorable address for a newcomer. It was a very simple but thought provoking piece.
Her survival evidence was very good. She gave three clear messages that were accepted straight away. As booking sec. I will be after Sharon for dates in the new year before her talent gets known around other churches.

Funny Business at Park Grove !

BREAKING NEWS....Spirits getting ready for Old Holly Evening - Auld Hallow-Eve were possibly to blame for funny busines at Cardiff church last night !

It was noticed that "someone" had hidden the £2 fee notice under a pile of hymn books - possibly in an an attempt to ecourage newcombers thinking that the open circle was a free & easy circle..

There were many new faces last night who enjoyed the positive vibration and mirth during the open circle and some even said that they looked forward to coming back next week! - with a couple of quid ..

Could this be a job for.... "helper of the month" a new position being considered - who could MEET AND GREET wanabee spiritualists OR people who just want to come in from the cold!

How about members putting forward a few names of people who they feel would be good at meeting and greeting ?(and who are NOT already on the committe - So Phil you can't nominate yourself!) & If we find the same names being given - we MIGHT just ask them to put on their best smiles on behalf of spirit and help with Phil's adding up

Names CAN be put forward anonymously - but why don't you show your friends what you really think of them ;)

Table Tilting on Auld Hallows Eve Tonight 7pm £2

Hope it a great success. Open Circle had 32 in number last night, hope people come tonight and have a good night.
There must have been spirit activity last night as the money did not add up. My math says there were 32 present and the total should have been £64. Our total was, wait for it------- £51-85. Doesnt add up does it.
Maybe it will tonight.

The week ahead

The week sees another full programme of events at Park Grove . Don't forget that on Wednesday ,in the afternoon and evening we have our band of healers waiting eagerly to attend to you.The times are 1pm until 2pm and 7pm until 8pm. The popular Open Circle on Thursday(please be there before 7pm)
On Friday the 31st there is a night of TABLE TILTING. Communication through this phenomena must be witnessed first hand. So come along and join in the fun, only £2 at the door.
Saturday sees our Demonstration of Mediumship, this week we have the pleasure to have Angela Porter as the worker. In the morning we have another healing session which stars at 10-30am
Then on to Sunday with our two divine services.> The morning service will be taken by Sharon Fry from our church and the evening service by Andre Djordevitch who has kindly stepped in to rescue us as the original worker cried off. Many thanks Andre, your reward shall be in Heaven,but that is a long, long way off.
Well there you have it in a few words all the happenings. Can I take this opportunity to thank all the healers of both Wednesday and Saturday plus the mediums and members who chair various nights and last but not least all the people who attend the church during the week.
We are lucky to be able to provide the weekly programme and to have dedicated workers to enable the services to go ahead. Thank you.

Half Yearly Meeting

The committee would like to thank all members who attended and also welcome those who last night were welcomed into the fellowship.
Also a big thank you to Mr Ron May who guided us through intricacies of the meeting.
The committee are only the custodians of the church which belongs to all the members and with their continued support we are able to keep the doors open.
Although she will most probably murder me for this, a special thank you to secretary Carol Ellis for all the accurate records she his able to keep despite her very demanding day job .

Carol and Karen Weekend

Carol Ellis and Karen North both gave very good services today which were enjoyed by both sets of people who attended.Philosophies were excellent and there was good survival evidence.
It was good to see Jane Best at the evening service and I enjoyed the little discussion I had with her after over a cup of tea and some biscuits.

NICE NOSH NIGHT A Great Success

Once again the combined talents of The RECIPES i.e Sandra,Do and Cath and Park Grove Church made tonight another great one.
The food was its usual delicious type and the mediumship of The three Amigos Grace West,Carol Ellis and Linda Calver was again to the standard that the church expects.
Lots of laughs and surprises gave the night the extra twist.
People went away smiling and asking for another night like this one.
With the people we have connected with this church, I can honestly say that there will be many, many more.

Half Yearly Meeting

Could members please be aware that the half yearly meeting will take place at Park Grove on the 27th of October 2008. The meeting will start at 7pm. Please come along and see the progress of your church in the last 6 months.

Just a reminder to all our Saturday night regulars. The 25th OCTOBER sees another themed evening at Park Grove. This time we have negotiated with our cooks, Sandra,Do and Cath to do another curry and rice night. We will have the usual creamy desserts as well and Veggies will be catered for.
There will be a limit on the number we will have participating so don't be slow in getting your tickets. The price is a bargain £5 per person.
It goes without saying that the mediumship will be of a high a standard as the food. We will be having not one but 3 that's right, 3 THREE mediums. They are GRACE WEST,CAROL ELLIS and LINDA CALVER.

Stranger in the Open Circle

Do you know this man. Lately he been seen at both the "Open Circle" and the Sunday night service. It is alleged that he has to duck to get into the Church doorway, and until recently needed a haircut. Often seen talking to Jack Wynn Williams, and is a pot of tea a day drinker.
He likes biscuits as well, especially the churches'(hence being at the 6pm Sunday Service) You are advised to approach this man in a friendly manner, as he is in reality a great guy. His name is Steve and despite the "Hills have eyes" look is a very, very nice man. Cheers Steve see you Sunday.

Large crowd for Scot Angela McInnes

A big turn out at Park Grove this evening were delighted with this lovely lady from" Bonnie Scotland". Angela McInnes gave an excellent demonstration of mediumship which had people amazed at the accuracy of her evidence.
The crowd totaling 53 went away smiling, saying that they had got their monies worth.
Angela is back again tomorrow for the two divine services at 11am and 6pm. On Monday she is giving another demonstration of mediumship starting at 7pm. Don't be diappointed and come along.

Committee man Jack of the" Open Circle " has tonight told me Vice - President Phil Spillane of an incident which happened recently in the church, and he is considering resigning so he can have a go back at this person.
Speculation is rife on what happened. I have it on good authority that our Jack was called a nasty word, the "P"word in fact, at the recent Open Circle . Yes he was called a "PILLOCK".
This has brought Jack into a depression, so much in fact, that he did not attend the demonstration on Saturday night as this person might have been there.
All the church can say is "THANK YOU JANE FOR MAKING US LAUGH WHEN JACK TOLD US!
SO COME ON JANE BEST MAKE A COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!

Good Debut for Sharon

Sharon Fry made a competent debut tonight at Park Grove. She was well supported by Carol Ellis - international medium and the Churchs' very own secretary.
Sharon's philosophy was said in a very clear and confident voice, and her survival evidence was excellent
The Church is lucky to have mediums to be so to speak, on the edge of making a name for them selves, and they too will soon be making their debuts' as Sharon did tonight

Paul Challenger

It was a debut for Paul at the church this morning, and what a debut!
Good solid philosophy followed by excellent survival evidence gave the small,but knowledgeable congregation a service that will be remembered for some time.
It won't be long before we have him back for more services at Park Grove.

Sunday Services 12th October

The work behind the scenes at the church is immense, and it only takes a cog to be misplaced and all that work could be undone. The church this Saturday evening was let down at the last minute by the advertised medium, who had confirmed that he would be there, but didn't turn up.
President , Gaynor Mullins was left in a predicament. Turn the people away and maybe you would lose them for a long time. Luckily Mike Cronin local medium had decided to come along and he stepped in to save the evening. The church would like to thank Mike, and indeed all the other local mediums who help to keep the church doors open.
Unfortunately this pattern is spreading to the divine services on Sundays. As you may have noticed in a previous post, Val Croot stood in to save the day.
As the winter creeps in we will no doubt have other emergencies to cope with, but with unselfish acts by people who care, and with the help of Spirit this church will stay open for all it's services.
Once again a big big thank you to the people involved

Val saves the day

Val Croot has jumped in yet again to come to the aid of the church. Val will now be taking the service this Sunday at 11am.

Saturday At the Park

This Saturday at the church sees the usual fantastic healing sessions in the morning, and in the evening our Demonstration of mediumship will be with SIMON LOCKE. So if its healing you want come in the morning and be seen by our friendly healers or if you want a message come along in the evening, Healing is free and the demo is a measly £3 per person.

"The Three Mediums and Nice Nosh"

Yes, we are privileged to having Spirits answer to the "Three Tenors" and "Three Musketeers" coming to this Church on the 25th October. They will be part of the special evening of Mediumship and "Nice Nosh".
The food will be prepared by who the Church call "The Girls". They have successfully cooked at other occasions in Park Grove, and this also promises to show their culinary expertise. This time the fare will be curry and rice (veggies will be catered for) and also the selection of afters will be available. The price--- stays at £5 per person and because of restricted space there will be limited tickets. I am sure that they will be snapped up very quickly, so get sorted.
The Mediums for this evening will be GRACE WEST, CAROL ELLIS and last but not least LINDA CALVER. You must agree that this line up is top notch and they will surely show us that they have the X Factor

Sunday sees the return of vice- president of the Church -Linda Calver for this mornings service at 11pm. In fact the rostrum will have two of the committee as I (Phil )will be chairing.
Linda has recently returned from an extended stay in the "Big Apple" and rumor has it George Bush came to see her for some advice. It always a pleasure to see Linda work at the Church, and a good service is guaranteed
This evening sees Mike Davies with frequent "open circler " Emma. Please come along to add to the energies so Emma can begin her experience with Spirit. As all regulars know Sunday is a good time to catch up with all the gossip over tea/coffee. biscuits and sometimes cake,which is supplied free of charge.
So again I ask you to come along and join the crowd of like minds in a relaxed atmosphere.

Green for Go at Park Grove this Saturday

It is all set for the weekend at the church. Healerts are on their marks for the morning so come along and feel the good vibes and get better.
The evening Demonstration is with the well known lady from Little Mill, Grace West who is back at the church. We have a change of chairperson for the night, Val Croot local medium from leafy Whitchurch will be in charge .
It augers well for a great night, so come along .

Thursday Open Circle 25/09/08

Just to keep members informed of events last night at Park Grove

Dave Spencer was taken ill towards the end of the session and an ambulance was attended.

He recovered sufficiently in the ambulance to consider driving home! However he was encouraged to be allowed to be taken to the Heath Hospital for a check-up before returning home.

Mike Cronin who was the medium supervising last night said that he would speak to Dave today and let me know how he is.

Thank you to all of last nights participants for their assistance; and even I was surprised that Cath's message to Dave would come true so quickly!

Church Cabinets

As you can see the church has acquired two glass cabinets which have a selection of jewellry and books . You can peruse these when you are at the church and if you want to purchase anything a committee member will be only to pleased to help you in your purchase.
Remember Christmas is not to far away.

Sunday Evening

Andrej Djordevitch and Helena Dyer worked well again last night. Helenas philosphy was very pragmatic and her hard work in providing a surprise box was much appreciated, there are a few left for those who could not make the service,
Andrej's detail of evidence was again impressive and his humorensures agood viberation for spirit to work with. We at Park Grove are lucky to have individuals like these on our doorstep.

Sunday Morning 21st September

The workers were Andrej Djordevitch and Helena Dyer. They worked very well together in front of a small gathering. Helena's philosophy was straight forward and interesting. It really hit a note with me and was quite enlightening to have things brought to the forefront of something happening in your life at this moment.
Andrej gave a survival demonstration was again up to the standard we have come to expect at Park Grove

Val Croot £3 ------- John Edward- £60

Val Croot spoke of her visit to see American Medium John Edward at the Saint Davids Hall in the week. She described what he had done and said how impressive he was. She then went on to give a demonstration which was in my opinion just as good as Mr Edward would give, but was £53 cheaper.

People must be made to understand how hard the local mediums work, and how much time they give to Spirit
Thank you Val your a star, and we must not forget the part Spirit played in this evening as well.

Saturday At the Park

Still no sign of Jack, but we still carry on . This Saturday sees the Healers do their work in the morning from 10-30 to 11-30. The Demonstration in the evening is by Val Croot.
Val is a very well known medium who has been dedicated to Spirit for many years. She has an opinion and is not afraid to express it. She always gives an excellent service with a mix of seriousness and merriment. This also raises the vibrations, hence the very good evidence of survival that she gives. On a personal note I have the privilege to sit in her home circle and have witnessed the power of spirit first hand so to speak. I have also the privilege to be the chairperson for her so anything can happen.
So come along and see for yourselves. Maybe you can spot Jack Wynne-Williams!!!!!!

Open Circle 18th Sept

Open Circle again . You wonder how the weeks go round so fast.
If anyone sees committee man Jack Wynne-Williams tell us please. Rumor has it that he has won the Lotto and gone walkabout. He was last seen at Val Croot's home circle with his eyes shut mumbling the words " There's no place like Mauritius" Hmm you never know.
All you who go tonight have a good one , and be there before 7pm as you what happens.

Always busy at Park Grove

After the hectic Sunday, Park Grove begins the business of another week. Tuesday is for a closed group, so not open to the public. Wednesday there is healing in the afternoon and evening. Times are 1pm until 2pm and 7pm until 8pm, so come along and get the benefit. Thursday is the popular open circle which starts at 7pm prompt. After that the door will be locked, so come early. Friday is for closed groups which takes us to Saturday. Healing in the morning from 10-30 until 11-30. The evening sees the ever popular Demonstration of Mediumship, which begins at 7pm.

Sunday Morning and EveningService 14th September

The second visit of Eric Jones and Brian Morris to Park Grove saw a service that just gave out love at every point. Eric gave a passionate address straight from his heart and Brian was spot on with his evidence of survival.
On leaving many said how good the service had been. They will certainly be returning in the near future.

Weekend Ahead

All is getting ready for another busy weekend at the grove .
Saturday morning sees spiritual healing starting at 10-30am until 11-30am.
Then in the evening we have Linda Walker and Val Cameron from Bristol giving a demonstration of mediumship which starts at 7pm. It will cost you £3 to witness that.
Sunday services are with Eric and Brian in the morning and Lew Jenkins in the evening. There is no charge for these services only a freewill offering.

Sunday Evening Service 7th Sept

You heard audible gasps come from the congregation tonight when worker ARTHUR DANDY gave his philosophy at Park Grove. It was honest, down to earth and above all true.
His wife JACKIE follwed him by giving meaningful evidence of survival.
The change in the church has been quite dramatic and rapid. It is great to see everyone chatting and enjying each others company after the service with tea, coffee and cake would you believe. Cake is supplied by our catering company "THE GIRLS". Come along and have a taster.

Sunday Morning Service 7th Sept

Yes I am back after a short break(one evening) and am able tom report on a good service this morning. The singing was awful (come back Howard,all is forgiven), the congregation small (8) but the address was excellent as well as survival evidence.
Jill Andrews gave an address that was simple in context but all 8 people were spellbound in what she said. Vanessa Follett was her usual competent self with evidence she gave.
it was a pity that so few attended, but all left with a smile on their face.

Changes at the Weekend

Two changes at the weekend to the workers at Park Grove meant a hectic 3 hours for Phil Spillane
on Wednesday evening. Frantic phone calls to mediums to replace the sick ones. Yed ,he did it and the result is ------- Replacing Sat evening is MIKE CRONIN and on Sun morning we have VANESSA FOLLETT.
The changes happen from time to time and is out of our hands at the church, \nd we are glad that we have willing workers to jump in and save the day

Sunday Evening Service 31st Aug

We have been spoilt this weekend at Park Grove. The evening service was another which you could find no faults with.
Mediums Bev Charles and Ruth Wakelin were on form with good philosophy and survival evidence.
There were quite a few in the congregation and again the atmosphere was a buzz!

Val Croot Sunday Service

Val gave another of her usual services this morning. Her address was straight to the point and the demonstration of survival was spot on.
She also commented on the atmosphere that is in the church now. On her arrival she had noticed a noise of people chatting happily together and liked that feeling. She added that it has been missing in the church and is glad that it is changing for the better.
Chairperson Phil Spillane in his introduction mentioned that Val had recently come back from America, and is the only person who could not find the Grand Canyon. She also said she had visited Mexico, and rumors have it that the Mexicans have not been the same since.

Demonstration of Mediumship 30th August

I was lucky to witness something special this evening. Margaret Challenger gave an exhibition of Mediumship in an atmosphere of love and compassion. Margaret's evidence was superb and complimented her every word. The faces on the receivers was one of disbelief as Margaret gave evidence after evidence of survival.
As I said, I thought myself lucky to be in the church.

Hot Off The Press

For your information. We will be having a Workshop with International Medium Angela McInnes from Scotland. Angela is also Principal and Head Tutor of the Edinburgh College of Parapsychology.
This is due to take place on October 18th 2008, and Angela will also do the Saturday night demonstration of Mediumship and the two Sunday services. She will finish her visit with a " special"on the Monday night, the 20th.
Angela will be pretty busy, so lets get your tickets early as they are limited.
The workshop is titled, Advance Your Mediumship. It will be suitable for all levels and will be from 12pm until 5pm at the church. Tickets are £10 and limited in numbers, " so don't be slow have a go"

Interuptions at Sunday Service

The service this evening was unfortunately interrupted by some young girls who had had to much spirit. I am talking of spirits that come in bottles and not the ones we have at the church. The mediums Rose Chard and her friend Pat handled the situation very professionally and the service did not suffer in any way. The young girls ran off in the direction of the pub to carry on with their large intake of liquid.
Rose and Pat gave a service that was informative and interesting and were not thrown by the hooligans appearance. This is the first time in my five years of being with the church that this type of thing has happened, and I hope that these people see sense and resist the temptation of doing it again.

Andrej Djordjevitch Sunday 24th August

Andrej gave another excellent service this morning at Park Grove . If you were to mark him on the philosphy you would have to give him a high score , and his survival evidence was just as good.
He brings a wonderful atmosphere with him which adds to the energy that is always present, and that adds up to perfect conditions.
Andrej is back again soon , but next time will do both services on the Sunday.
It is a pity that only a small gathering saw this splendid service.

Chris Heath 1 Madonna 0

Those who went to the gig with Madonna missed what can only be described as a brilliant display of mediumship at the Park Grove church tonight. International medium Christopher Heath gave an excellent show of evidence of survival. His relaxed style and straight forward talking had the 50 odd people present meserised throughout the 95 minutes of mediumship.
Christopher is always welcome to work at the church, and we have another couple of dates for 2009 in our diary for him to show his great work.

Return of Christopher Heath

This Saturday sees the return of well known medium Christopher Heath. Chris says that he enjoys working at Park Grove and we certainly like him coming.
Last time 70 people saw him give a great exhibition of mediumship in his own special style. So come along and see the man in action . At £3 it is a really good night out.

Jan Lloyd at the Grove

Little ,lovely and chatty Jan Lloyd came to the church on Sunday for the 6pm service. When she comes to Cardiff she never disappoints and always gives a good philosophy and excellent evidence. The church atmosphere was on full power as the demonstration was given, the only thing lacking was the sparks.
Jan will be back with us soon , and she will do Saturday nights as well as Sunday evening.
Keep up the good work Jan, you are always welcome at Park Grove.

Great evening

Another great evening at the church tonight. it was a BOGOF evening as we had two mediums for the price of one.The mediums Bryan Morris and Eric Jones held the audience spellbound with their uncanny evidence of survival.
It was their first visit to the Church and it will certainly not be the last visit. The evening had it all,tears , laughter and love.

Carol Ellis

Carol Ellis caught at the church just after returning from her mediums work around the globe. This time she had literally just got back from the airport after a trip to Sweden. The Swedes really like her work, she is always in demand.
Carol is also a big cog in the running of Park Grove and essential in the smooth running. Her P.A. (joke) is treasurer Pat Spillane who is another who works hard for the Church.
You can always see Pat every weekend when she accompanies her husband Phil as he chairs the morning, and someteimes the evening service, as well as keeping the gutters free from leaves, putting up notices and many more things that are done,when no-one is at the church.

Coming this weekend at the Park

Well another week of activities have gone by in the church,and once again we are gearing up for the weekend.
On Saturday , the demonstration of mediumship will be given by two, that's right, two mediums, who go by the name of Bryan and Eric ( sorry i don't know their surnames). That will start at 7pm, pleas come along ,it is a good night for only £3.
On tthe Sunday morning our very own Secretary is back and raring to go, yes it is Carol Ellis or Miss Sweden has she should be called(spends a lot of time there these days) only joking Carol.
Always a service to look forward to when Carol is the worker.

Sunday Evening Service 10th Aug

Things can only get better, or so it seems at Park Grove. Another great service, this time with Vanessa Follett and Diane Jeale. The philosophy carried on from this morning and again the evidence produced was remarkable. Well done Ladies ---- not forgetting the part that the Spirit World had in it , because without them, it would not be possible.
A big thank you as well to Sandra for the lovely danish pastries she provided for after the service to go with the tea and coffee.
If you want to taste the tea ,coffee or atmosphere, do please venture to the church and spend an hour or two with interesting people enoying a good time.

Great Sunday morning service at Park Grove

Andrej Djordjavitch member of Park Grove , gave a very special service this morning. His philosophy was outstanding and was congratulated by all the congregation . He covered many aspects of the seven principles and was clear in his speech and diction.
Andrej is another practiced healer of the church and gives his time freely on Wednesdays when he gives up his talents
It must be noted that Andrej is another who will drop things at a moments notice to attend the church when othershave been unable to be present.
Your rewards Andrej will come in heaven, but alas not for a long time yet!

Just got back from the Church after watching a medium that had his very own style of mediumship. Tom gave some very substantial evidence and the people there seemed to enjoy it. All going away happy.

Lloyd Evans is a qualified healer at the Park Grove Church. He has been working as a healer for many years. If you want to meet him, you will find him at the Church every Saturday morning between 10-30 and 11-30. He is just one of the dedicated healers from the Park Grove team. Lloyd can also be found at the Church on most Sundays as he is the steward for the Sunday morning service.
I will be putting more pics of healers and of Church mediums in the next few weeks, so watch this space!

SERVICES 3RD AUGUST

The services today will be taken in the morning by Eileen Roberts and the evening by Gaynor Mullings. Gaynor the church President has been hijacked by the vice -president to take the service. Gaynor plans her revenge at this very moment. but Phil has broad shoulders and everything else if you have seen him on the rostrum. He says he is open to anything to get more people into the church on Sundays, especially in the mornings.

TONIGHT 2nd August 2008

Mike Cronin gave what I saw as a great piece of mediumship tonight. He stood in for the advertised medium, but gave a first class show. There was loads of laughs, some sadness but loads of good evidence. Add Mikes candid approach, then you have an interesting night. The majority of people went home laughing and that was all down to Mike . Thank you Mike.

Great Weekend at The Park Grove

It is now 22-05 and I have just got in from chairing at the church but have to write up the weekend events.
Saturday evening s Pie and Mash special was a great success. Many thanks to Kay Harding ,who was in good form giving some brilliant evidence inter mixed with loads of laughs. The biggest thanks must go to the three ladies who did the catering, Sandra, Dolores and last but not least Cath.
The pies were better than Clarkes!!!!!!!
Sunday services were also excellent. The church sends its thanks to Tony Leeson and Gillian Sharp and Linda Patterson who came from Swansea. Tony is President of the Barry church as well as being a member of Park Grove.

Healing Days at Park Grove.

We have many healers who make themselves available at the church on the following days. Every WEDNESDAY at 1pm until 2pm, and in the evening at 7pm until 8pm. There is also a session every SATURDAY at 10-30am until 11-30am.

Healing is free, but you can make a donation to help towards the running of the church

OPEN CIRCLE 24th July

Open circle is in danger of spilling out into the road with the amount of people who are taking advantage of our excellent church mediums.
The circle this time will be taken by our own Secretary, Carol Ellis. Linda Calver is down to do the chairing for the evening, and between the two of them anything can happen.

Just a little thought, maybe some of you who attend the Thursday event, could come along on Sunday. It would be great to see you at the divine services at 11am , 6pm. You will surely benefit from the excellent quality of philosophy and mediumship.
After the evening service we will even throw in tea and biscuits free of charge.
Come along and meet others who use the church.

Saturday Special 26th July

We continue our trip around the the worlds foods. This Saturday we do not have to travel as far , because we are in Britain, for PIE and MASH.
Vegetarians will be catered for. I have been informed by the cooks that pies of a vegetarian ilk will be available.
The desserts this time are also from Britain. There will also be good old Custard to put over the puddings.
Tickets are going quite well, so snap them up now instead of risking it on the night. THERE ARE ONLY 50 tickets available, so don't be disappointed.
The demonstration will be given by KAY HARDING who was also at our Asian night, and the girl did good.

So get along to Park Grove for great food and Great mediumship.

Val Croot Sunday

As you can tell from the header, it was a ladies day at Park Grove today. Both services were taken by committee member Val (she who speaks her mind) Croot.
Val was on top form with two excellent philosophies and to finish up gave excellent evidential demonstrations. Both services contained laughter which helped lift the vibrations and also made people smile, which is always nice to see. Val has said that she does not know why Spirit work with her. If you see her working you will see why.

Goldfish and Budgies

What an evening at Park Grove. Not only evidence of loved ones but also evidence of loved pets.
Gail Osbourne of Swansea had the audience in hysterics when she gave a man a goldfish! The gentleman then went on to explain that his pet was speared by his sister with a knitting needle. Later in the evening she also gave someone a budgie with a club foot. All the evidence was taken with enthusiasm by all the ones who received a message.
Gail is a frequent visitor at the church, and if her mediumship carries on as good as it is she will be very much sought after.

A lovely lady will work this Saturday at the church. Gail Osbourne is from Swansea and the service is always top notch. Very good evidence has been given by her in the past , so all augers for anther good night at the Park Grove Church. All are welcome.

31 attended the evening where gaynor Mullins was the medium. Great to see that it is getting popular. Maybe some of the people could find their way to the church on Sunday mornings , that to is a very good experience. Come along and help with the singing

Sunday Services 13th July

Both morning and evening services at Park Grove were conducted in a cordial, pleasant atmosphere. All the workers gave excellent evidence of survival.
Our very own LINDA CALVER (vice pres. of the church) gave her usual quick tempo service.
The evening workers JANE YOUNG and SHEILA WINDSOR gave a very happy and enjoyable service. It was good to see the nodding of heads from the people who had the messages.
People left both services with smiles on their faces which is always good to see. It is a pity that there seems to a lack of congregation at the moment and they are missing out on a enjoyable experience.

Hot Off The Press

Just off the press the news of another culinary trip around the world. This time we will not venture far as it will be a PIE and Mash night.
Coupled with the talented KAY HARDING as the medium it looks as if it will be an excellent night as all the others have been.
The price will be £5 per person and tickets are limited to 50, so please get them soon so you will not be disappointed. The 26th of July is a date for your diaries and it is a 7pm start. So get those tickets.

Sunday 6th July

Sunday will see two of the churchs' stalwarts (they will kill me for saying that) taking the services . The morning service will be taken by our very own secretary, Carol Ellis. Carol has recently returned from Spain and should be nice and refreshed.
The evening service is being taken by another committee member, the one and only Val Croot. Val says it, as she sees it, and it is assured that she will give a good service.

This is an opportunity to develop self awareness through meditative exercises
and group discussion.

and a great way to put aside the worries of the day for an hour or so.

Weekend Success

What a great weekend at Park Grove. We welcomed Shirley Chubb from Plymouth for her yearly visit and was as she has been , an excellent worker . She worked the entire weekend and all who attended were given the benefit of all her years in working for Spirit. Two wonderful services on Sunday had excellent philosophy and people listened intently.
On behalf of the committee we thank Shirley for her hard work and look forward to her return.

Saturday 28th June

This evening saw the return to Cardiff of Shirley Chubb from Plymouth. Shirley gave excellent evidence of survival in the many messages given by her inspirer's. Shirley has worked many times at Park Grove and is also doing the two Divine Services tomorrow at 11am and 6pm.

Sunday Morning Services

It was great to see a few more people at the morning service today. There was actually 4 times as many as were there last Sunday. Park Grove is one of only three churches left in Britain that has a Sunday morning service.

Demonstration of Mediumship Sat 21st June

Oh what a night! International medium CHRISTOPHER HEATH packed out Park Grove this evening and gave an evening packed with excellent survival evidence. Christopher worked for over 90 minutes and gave many messages from love ones.
On a personal note it was great to see over 70 people in the church. Hopefully Chris will be back in August, but dates are still to be finalized.

Healing at Park Grove is free and sessions are held on Saturday morning @ 1o-30 till 11-30 and om Wednesdays @ 1pm till 2pm and 7pm till 8pm. All are welcome

On Saturday evening we are pleased to have Christopher Heath, an medium of some renown, working at Park Grove. Christopher is always welcome and always produces excellent evidence. All are welcome . price on the door is £3. Come early to make sure you have a seat.
Sunday services are with Jan Lloyd from Ferndale at the 11am, and workers from Ammanford in the evening, J Rickard and B Freedman at 6pm. Please come along and bring some friends, the more the merrier

Saturday night sees the return of medium Simon Locke for the Demonstration of Mediumship. Sunday ses local lady Val Croot take the 11am service and in the evening sees George and Jackie Brown taking the service .
Come along for a social as well as an uplifting experience.

Excellent Services at Park Grove this Sunday

Another great day for the church on Sunday. The morning service with Grace West as the worker was wondewrful.This was followed in the evening with another service of high quality, the workers being Ken Rees and Paul Jenkins. The evidence of survival given was spot on .
If you want to see this for yourselves , please feel free to come along to the church on any Sunday for either or both of the services. You will be made extremly welcome.

Sunday Morning service

On the 25th May the visiting medium at Park Grove was Mr Tony Leeson. He gave a wonderful service which was appreciated by the unfortunately small congregation. His philosophy was given with a strong emotive feeling . His evidence of survival was spot on, giving detailed information.
This is another example of how good local mediums are and how hard they are working for spirit.Tony is a member of Park Grove and is also President of the Barry Church. Thank you Tony for your hard work.

Demonstration of Mediumship

At the church on the 24th of may the medium will be Val Croot. Val has been a member of Park Grove for a number of years and has become very popular for her straight talk and her high quality of evidence of survival.
So why not come along and spend a good hour and a half amongst friendly people in a great atmosphere ----- only £3 per person.

Italian evening

On the 31st of this month we are holding a special evening of mediumship and cuisine. This time we have left the east and are moving into the Mediterranean area . We will be eating pasta, which has been specially prepared by members of the church. Their first sortie into food was a great success and no doubt this venture will be as successful.The medium side will be equally exciting. Andrej and Phil will use the music to help them bring the spirit messages to the diners /congregation. It was again very successful the first time it was attempted, and should be no different this time. There is only space for a specific number, so it is first come , first served. Ticket price £5 per person.

Sunday we have two divine services at 11am and 6pm,
Healing sessions are held on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings. The Wednesday sessions are 1pm till 2pm and 7pm till 8pm.Saturday sessions are 10-30 till 11-30. All healers are fully trained and qualified under S.N.U guidelines.Open circle is held on Thursdays and the doors are shut promptly at 7pm. All are welcome to attend. This event is proving very popular,entrance is a mere £2.
Along with activities on Monday and tuesday the church is busy all week.
Private readings are given by church mediums on Monday evenings . From time to time we hold social events and have proved very popular.
